I found the Eckhorn 18 mk2 from HOBBYHIFI 5/2017 so interesting that I decided to add it to the range. After decades of the K Horn, it was time for a new Eckhorn concept as well. Pleasingly, it is only 70 cm high compared to almost 1 metre for the Klipschhorn, and there is the favourable price of the outstanding 46 cm bass driver MIVOC AWX 184 MKII.

In combination with our JABO spherical wave horn KH-72 and the proven 2″ studio driver BMS 4591, a bass/midrange unit of superlatives results. Crowned in the high-frequency range by FOSTEX’s best ring radiator T 500 A MKII. You simply have to have experienced it!

Above all, the active version tuned with Mini DSP, without passive crossovers, is fully convincing in sound terms, not least in price too. Arrange a listening appointment in our horn studio in Saarbrücken and experience “seemingly infinitely deep, powerful and precise bass”, as HOBBYHIFI wrote. Paired with dreamlike mids and highs.
