In the second step, the FE 206 NV can be supplemented with the FOSTEX T 90 A ring radiator to form a 2-way horn system. Resolution, fine dynamics and spatial imaging are significantly increased compared to pure full-range operation. The sound image becomes airier and clearer, more details in the music become audible.
The correction network from the full-range operation of the FE 206 NV is retained and is merely supplemented by a low-pass filter, which slightly attenuates the highs of the full-range driver, and a high-pass filter in front of the tweeter T 90 A.
